Based in London, Vic Sharma started playing guitar in his teens inspired by the melodic soloing of Mark Knopfler and Eric Clapton. Further discoveries led to the appreciation of BB King, Peter Green, Buddy Guy and many other blues masters. Also a lover of melodic songwriting he is heavily influenced by artists like Neil Finn and his band Crowded House. He has just recorded and released an acoustic song Nothing is Set in Stone. Vic has spent years weaving his love of guitars and music around his day job as a health professional. His current project is an album called Island Mind (Music for Self Compassion), a series of ambient acoustic instrumental songs designed to facilitate mindfulness.
